Charter Information

The 80-foot steel-hulled schooner LELANTA was custom designed as a private yacht in 1929 by Boston yacht designer John G. Alden and was built by the famed De Vries Lentsch yard at Amsterdam, Holland. Fully restored and impeccably maintained by her current owner, LELANTA is available for day, weekend and regatta charters. The plush interior has been hand crafted in the original style in solid teak and butternut accented with inlaid leaded glass cabinetry, antique lamps and artwork collected throughout Europe.  With comfortable overnight accommodations for four guests her beautiful interior, teak deck and seasoned crew provide for an exceptional classic yachting experience. LELANTA is available with race crew for the classic regatta circuit throughout New England in summer months.

Accommodation

LELANTA can accommodate four guests in two cabins and up to twelve guests for day charters / regatta racing. Guest aft queen cabin has two opening ports & companionway to Cockpit. Guest forward starboard cabin has two bunks with upper / lower singles. Crew quarters are in forward port cabin and share forward starboard head. The main head is off the main salon with sink, toilet and full shower. The forward head is to starboard with sink and toilet. Crew use common companionway, heads and showers.

Amenities – Stereo/CD, TV. Water Toys – 13-foot hard bottom dinghy, snorkeling equipment. Diving by arrangement / rendezvous.

Member day and term charter rates -- $3,200 per day; $2,500 half-day; 13,000 per week (two guests); $15,000 per week (four guests), plus standard expenses.  Five and ten day seasonal, and fifteen day annual yachting programs are also available to members (requires advance booking - by May 15, 2011 for Summer 2011 five and ten day seasonal offerings.) 
Yacht & Resort Excursion offerings and rates combining accommodations at the American Hotel in Sag Harbor or the Ocean House in Watch Hill, Rhode Island with LELANTA charter are also available.
